Today was one of the most productive days ever. Went to an Agency (not sure if I can say which one so I’ll just leave the name out for now) with my boss and the company’s producers, Jasmine & Liana, for a pre-production meeting. The people there were really nice, friendly and (hahahaha) really funny actually. Client’s tight budget is really making all of them pissed off because the shoot can’t operate smoothly and stuff. And I feel like the client is sabotaging their own shoot because of the tight budget… The main important part of the shoot isn’t settled yet… So here comes the dragging part I guess. And my boss is going for a 1 week shooting trip to china with Harpi… & Liana’s taking off. Argh my goodness. The office will be so empty. Iggi, Jasmine and I. I’m fine with the company, just worried that there’s nothing to do. Maybe I should try shooting my product shots? We’ll see.

But today was really fulfilling because lao ban gave me a studio shot and told me to do a set up for the shoot. I swear my heart was palpitating when I was setting up because I had to set up the auto pole and the backdrop on my own. Iggi did teach me how to do it but firstly, vertically challenged as I am, I needed a longer ladder and here comes the second problem, I’m dead scared of heights. HAHA. You could not imagine the amount of stress that was in me. I was so afraid I was going to fall… & when I carried the backdrop on my shoulders and climbed the ladder… I looked down at Iggi and I gave him the “oh my gosh I hope I don’t fall and die”. Hahaha. I really need to start to work out more. Especially for my arm… Carrying the backdrop up the ladder is insane I swear. And all these took about 1 hour plus? It was about time for lunch and lao ban walked out and was like “EH, client coming already. Still haven’t set up properly ah!” Haha I knew he was kidding but I was really panicky because I just didn’t want to seem really stupid when I set up the lights… Like you know, he’ll know if it’s in the wrong position or something. But after lunch, came back and did the lighting and everything. Sort of got it after a few tries but of course not exactly. But I was happy that I managed to accomplish something. And really have to thank Iggi for being my model. Haha. The modelling light was turned on so it was extremely hot and blinding for him. But again, I am so so so thankful for having Jeremy as my boss. Truly he is amazing and really helpful and I wish I could intern for another 3 more months if possible. I’ll work my ass off for them. I really wouldn’t mind.

Zouk Flea & Easy

Arghh, Just spent like $60 at that flea. Bag, accessories and two tops. I feel like I’ve been deprived of shopping or something. Main reason I went there because my internship company had two stores there… So you know, must give face and go there and say hi. Hahaha. But it was fun, and I got to see mae and buy new stuff so all’s well. :D

Happy birthday my dearest Kristi. You’ll always be our little innocent sweet girl, even though you’re one year older than us, and I will love you like a sister forever and ever. I miss you & I hope you get your indo ass back in Singapore soon. xoxo

So…

My internet connection is being a bitch and I can’t research properly on product photography. Lao Ban (boss) asked me if I wanted to shoot anything tomorrow… And since I’m really bad at product photography, I thought that I should try shooting some beverages and find out how the “glowing” works. Haha. But apparently my internet doesn’t want me to do research because it’s LAGGING the hell out of me. Argh. Frustrated. And today was so much better because I got to do more things. #yay
